impeller change petter twin

Hi Folk could any of you experts please help, I am having dificulty removing my jabsco seawater pump the tread size is between 10mm & 11 mm or 3/8 & 7/16,(what spanner to use)
also how do you remove the impeller in situ .

Are you sure the heads aren't 10mm with a bit of corrosion? A socket or ring spanner will always grip better than an open ended spanner.

Impellors usually just pull out (with a bit of muscle power).

Thanks for your reply but last night I ground down a 11mm spanner and promplty
snapped the head of the bolt, still at least I got the pump off.
