No, the keel can't be locked down. That is possibly a safety issue if the boat is ever rolled. It would be possible to put a horizontal rod through the case, but it would be close to the waterline. Mine has a wire strop and s/s bar to take the weight when the keel's lifted, so the uphaul rope...

To re-open an old thread... The Navionics web api still isn't working for us but I've noticed it does still work on some sites; eg. Lake of the Woods and iNew Ross Marina I've looked at the page source and network calls for these sites and can't see a substantial difference from the way we do...

I need a replacement NASA masthead wind unit - the old 5-wire one with a DIN connector - as mine is now at the bottom of Cardigan Bay, And NASA are out of stock, maybe permanently. I don't need the 10m cable. Any condition is fine as they're pretty easily repairable, Thanks Geoff
