I had the Google "not activated" message, but it went away if there was no internet (no Wifi or mobile data) when starting the app, But I can't say how reliable that solution is - the message may come back.
What VMH don't explicitly say is that you need to pay again for the non-Google version...
That's the API that I was using which is no longer working. The Get API key page (Web Api Download) says "The Web API service is currently unavailable".
Well, maybe a bit easier when afloat. But other things to check:
1. Early 21s had a 4 to 1 purchase (2 blocks on the keel), later ones went up to 6 to 1 I think.
2. Do the blocks still go round? They may be old tufnol blocks with plain bearings; new blocks with roller bearings are better.

No, the keel can't be locked down. That is possibly a safety issue if the boat is ever rolled. It would be possible to put a horizontal rod through the case, but it would be close to the waterline.
Mine has a wire strop and s/s bar to take the weight when the keel's lifted, so the uphaul rope...

The Navionics web api still isn't working for us but I've noticed it does still work on some sites; eg. Lake of the Woods and iNew Ross Marina
I've looked at the page source and network calls for these sites and can't see a substantial difference from the way we do...
I need a replacement NASA masthead wind unit - the old 5-wire one with a DIN connector - as mine is now at the bottom of Cardigan Bay, And NASA are out of stock, maybe permanently. I don't need the 10m cable.
Any condition is fine as they're pretty easily repairable,
