Thanks for the replies all. I guesses it was just crud, so with a drill bit and a skewer and lot of soaking I managed to get the matrix out. Sacrificed a repaired innertube to pressure test. No air escaping, I guess that will leak easier than water, so I hope that the mmatrix is therefore sound.
Hi all
Taken the engine out of Ty-Phoo - not a moment too soon. CLeaning up the neglected bits. Polar 1500 Heat exchanger. Should the pipe matix simply slide out of the outer shell? Is this pic showing lots of gummed up yick that should be scraped away to allow removal of the matrix?
All,
Looking at maybe buying a new boat. Wife & 2 teen daughters. So be real, three cabins a must 2 heads minimum, it's a caravan that I can sail.
Me - 53 (or am I 54 now) and hoping to retire soon (55maybe)
Currently - Countess 33.
Nice and tubby - comfy for the youngsters. I can sail it on...
Jim Ricketts? Not the worlds cheapest, but absolutely worth the money. Knows his stuff, has all the gear, helped me out with problems to "get the job done". A pleasure to work with.
I presume you have a pressurized shower in the head.
Buy a WHITE face flannel.
Do business.
Irrigate stern with shower (do not overflow!).
Pat dry with white face flannel. The white face flannel proves that the irrigation method is 100% efficient. No loo paper required.
Maybe get a light...
EDITED oops- "your friend". Sorry - for "you" read "your friend".
Nope - still you (oops- "your friend") are moving someone else's boat. If you purposely move his boat & someone gets hurt ,or the boat gets damaged, then you will be culpable - in law or just in your conscience.
Option A...
