When the 2.5 HP Mariner that came with my first boat, bought in 1992, packed in a few years later - possibly due to the fact that my massive learning curve on the main attraction meant I'd not given the outboard a thought let alone any TLC - I switched to a 1 HP model: me. The dinghy at the...
I have both a Tinker Traveller and a Tinker Funsail (a rare beast, that) with sailing rigs. Dinghies and sailing kits currently lurking in a large container. I've never compared the two jibs or looked at dimensions. There is a Tinker association so you could try posting there, or asking Henshaw...
I'm with jdc. It is sad that this question is asked.
That said, my (long) list includes Beryl Smeeton, most definitely. For those who have never heard of her: she and her husband sailed one of the first 'cruising' yachts to round Cape Horn, in the 1950s. Beryl was on the helm when their boat...
Baltic Lifejackets for small children. One is the (up to) 15 kg size, no harness; the other is the 15 - 20 kg size, with harness. Both in as new condition (worn once for a few hours, no incidents!) £20 each plus postage.
I live near Huddersfield, partner works in Leeds. Boat is in Ardrossan for the winter. Could get your goods from Leeds to Ardrossan sometime in next 6 - 8 weeks depending on how the decorating project goes.
Otherwise boat will be back up to Arisaig early April, could drop off in Tyndrum ....
The one I found most helpful when I rewired my last boat was Charles Wing's Boatowner's Wiring Manual - easier going than the 12 Volt Bible and Nigel Calder. Haven't tried Don Casey though. Suspect it's all down to presonal preference!
I used it in Shetland three years ago and like Relax would have been stuck without. Could get online most places where I was in sight of houses (and that without a booster) whereas I had to walk up many hills in search of a mobile signal.
I was thinking about it but info on the website was so minimal that when the weather over the weekend looked half decent at last (if you're down south or don't try to grow veg in the S Pennines you may not have noticed that it's not been worth planting much out until last weekend) I decided not...

Moitessier definitely goes off at the end. Moby Dick on the other hand - the last 30 pages are absolutely gripping, the previous 1,000 not so much!
My best sailing book is Miles Smeeton's Once is Enough. It wasn't.
Stopped using them years ago after ordering high spec liferaft, £1k+. When I queried non delivery a week later was told it would be 8 weeks. But most of the big online chandlers are the same - they don't hold stocks of many of the items they list and fail to advise customers of this. My worst...
Your website labels these novels, which none of them are. Really nice selection of non-fiction though.
My favourite on your list is Miles Smeeton's 'Once is Enough', which I read for the first time one wild night in the Outer Hebrides, waiting for the anchor to drag - which it did, but kindly...
What Antares Charts do is far too good and important to get lost in sparring on this site. No link required if you can type "Antares Charts" into a browser. For anyone who sails on the W coast N of Kintyre, Antares Charts provide an invaluable resource.
