Hiya,
Can anyone offer their experiences or advice on the pros and cons of inflatable sailing dinghies/canoes?
Am thinking of getting one for general messing about on the water, and an inflatable would be ideal for camping trips.
I understand that Bestway's Neva III and Voyager 500 are good...
Italians in the Ionian in their silly little RIBs and powerboats especially in August really grips my s***.
None of them seem to know the colregs, and most of them are rude or abusive.
As for tying up astern in what seems dubious situations, it could well have been poor seamanship.

CLIMBING A MAST
1) Stand on the boom.
2) Grab hold of a shroud in each hand.
3) Lean back and place feet against mast.
4) Brace body, and walk/climb up mast.
Easy innit!
If this is too hard, then wrap legs around forestay and pull yourself up the forestay.

I have been recently asked to skipper a yacht for a couple of weeks day sailing out of Falmouth.
Can anyone offer any good advice re: places to visit, anchorages, tidal gates etc. ?
I did some of my Day Skipper course in Falmouth and all I can recall is that great big rock in the harbour...
Re: No...
