Hiya,

Can anyone offer their experiences or advice on the pros and cons of inflatable sailing dinghies/canoes?

Am thinking of getting one for general messing about on the water, and an inflatable would be ideal for camping trips.

I understand that Bestway's Neva III and Voyager 500 are good, but I don't know what the difference is between the two as they both seem very similar and are same price.

However, I would like one that you can stick a sail on for added fun and general messing about with.

I know that inflatable Tinkers are highly recommended but they are very pricey 'cos of the high quality build.

Does anyone know of a good compromise? Or can you stick a sail on a Bestway Voyager? What's the going price for a second hand Tinker?

Any advice greatly appreciated!

Cheers.

Hi
There is a small personal craft which works 3 ways - It can be used as a large bodyboard, a small 'sit on' boat with paddle, and there is also a central mounting point for a small sail.
Not sure on price, but if you find a chandlery that deals with Burden Marine (Unipart Leisure) then it is in the back of the catalogue amongst the inflateables and water toys.
They look good fun but need fairly calm water (i.e lake or sheltered cove).
Hope this helps!
