I've got a 22spc with Aq211 on duoprops. Quality of mouldings v/good and gel coat still looks good at ten+ years old. Have had 30knts recorded by gps but last season speed was down to 25 no reason found so far as now laid up. V8 engine boats are tail heavy and benefit from trim tabs didn't get...

Anyone have any comments on these boats? I'm looking at the 2 meter version which although more expensive than the Compass water sports' 2 meter offering it is about half the weight which is also a consideration (small motor cruiser) Thanks in advance................Rich.

One advantage could be that changing the pump impeller could be easier. Mine is level with the water line so I get a bit of a flood when I take the cover off. Pipe clamp helps. Disadvantages could be that you might forget to turn it on and it introduces two extra joins in the intake pipe which...
