I have used one of the solid sail-drive anodes on my shaft drive H5 propeller, I had to cut off some of the forward end on the sail drive anode so it would fit.

I think you do - then the cover can be turned to remove from the mast along with the swaged terminal sitting in it.

The difference is due to the different arrangement of the prop nut inside the boss on those two versions.

There's information on the Parker and Seal Sailing Association website about the supplier of replacement tapes. Can't remember the details at this instant, but if you look on there, or ask a question on their forums you'll get the answer.

With the older Nimh batteries in HH VHF's, leaving them on charge longer than to get to fully charged would significantly reduce the battery life - so best not to leave them on charge.

I replaced my Aqua-Signal Series 40 Quickfit incandescent Tri/White with the Series 34 LED Quickfit LED Tri/White a few years ago. The new one plugged straight onto the old base and works fine.
