    Was involved in a trial of a prop cage on a RIB. WOT speed without the prop cage was around 30 knots, with the prop cage it was around 20 knots.

    Brunson prop anode

    I have used one of the solid sail-drive anodes on my shaft drive H5 propeller, I had to cut off some of the forward end on the sail drive anode so it would fit.

    I think you do - then the cover can be turned to remove from the mast along with the swaged terminal sitting in it.

    The difference is due to the different arrangement of the prop nut inside the boss on those two versions.

    I had understood that there was a difference in risk between Lithium-Ion batteries and Lithium-Iron batteries [ otherwise called LiFePO4 cells] - The Anarchist appeared to be inveighing against the former.

    DANGER ! Lithium ion batteries in hand held radios

    With the older Nimh batteries in HH VHF's, leaving them on charge longer than to get to fully charged would significantly reduce the battery life - so best not to leave them on charge.

    Aquasignal Masthead Tricolour advice

    I replaced my Aqua-Signal Series 40 Quickfit incandescent Tri/White with the Series 34 LED Quickfit LED Tri/White a few years ago. The new one plugged straight onto the old base and works fine.
