Just the red and black is needed to turn the heater on and off. If you put the brown to the red you will pop a fuse. If the switch you have has a light in you can use the brown as the earth for the light.
This can be done by simply connecting the red wire to the black wire to turn on and disconnected to turn heater off. (make sue they are the wires from the webasto loom) So a simple switch will work. On a webasto red is positive and brown is negative black is for switching.
Dp42 pump is only on the newer thermo Pro 90. (Not the 90 s or St.) Which runs around 7 volts. The voltage to the fuel pump is regulated by the ecu there is a chance you have damaged the pump by putting it directly to 12 volts.
No sorry don't have a workshop manual. They are so simple inside. The replacement parts I got from mit were machined better than what the manufacturer fits inside of the box. They may even have a manual they can send you.
Which nanni engine is it? I have known of a couple of heat exchangers cracking internally and water leaking in the the engine through an open exhaust valve. Try removing the heat exchanger and pressure testing it.
