i need to replace the rigging on my 20 foot yacht. i have the crimping tool. but what breaking strain wire should i use? is galvanised cable ok to use? thanks

i have to refit the winged keel to my flare 25. any ideas as to the best sealent to use? should a rubber seal be fitted between hull and keel. all ideas and advice welcome

just bought a flare 25 to restore hull only grp. when she is finished would ce regulations apply. can she be registered aswell no paper work came with her.

thanks to all that have replied you have given me plenty to think about. the boat is a flare 25 there were'nt many built but the designer was john westell whom i belive to be well known and has a good reputation. the hull appears to be 19mm thick at the bottom and 15mm or so at the sides.

HELP i have just purchased an old flare 25 for restoration. but having no joy in finding any technical data or pictures of this boat. ballast info desprately needed.she was designed by john westell around the late 60s early 70s possibly of grp construction. any help or info would be gratefully...
