    Webasto trouble

Warrenty period is years, it sounds like the resister/switch in the controller is at fault. When the light goes out does the heater go into its cool down cycle? if so the fault is in the switch and needs replacing.

I fit Webasto heaters, and use the in line filter available from Halfords at about £2.89. They are not essential but if dirt gets in the fuel the filter is cheaper to replace.

Is this not just another TAX con?

They can still let us have reduced tax fuel, just not red fuel. if this was the EU dictating tax levels then would not are drink and tobaco tax amounts also come in line. I am sure I have missed the point somewhere but why should I pay road duty for th fuel in a boat that does not go on the road.

    Deck hatch re-glazing

Thaks but I don't think it is them, I have 2 Lewmar hatches to replace or repair, 500x500 and 420x500, Lewmar are the only ones that make the smaller hatch and you all know the price there. The company I am looking for I think only repaired not manufactured.

Autohelm - irrirating beep, beep noise

Re: What beep beep? Just a thought, could it be low voltage from the motor drive circuit caused by thin wire as the motor pulls it's start current!
