Force Ten cooker pre-2000 service parts.

Thank-you yes, I remember a post of old, that said the same, bur wondered if anything has changed. I have this problem with an old car, you can only get used parts. Unfortunately, it is the same bits that fail, so you take a chance with them. I will speak to Penguins and ask a gas fitter, but I...

Force Ten cooker pre-2000 service parts.

Thanks wonkywinch, those bits are for the new stoves, I will phone and ask if they know if anything is available for the old ones. Otherwise, the cooker could be scrap, well, the oven at least.

Force Ten cooker pre-2000 service parts.

A long shot, does anyone know if parts for the old style Force Ten cookers are available? I may need an oven thermostat or the complete burner. Alternatively, who made the burners, or can a newer burner be fitted to the old cookers? I will phone Penguin Engineering, in case they can help, but a...

    Varnish?

I don't think there is any magic here, there is blackening, a sign of water penetration on the toe rail, a large flake has come away at the base of the stanchion showing the thickness of the build up. The damage on the post appears to have been coated over, it is a rough surface, but the grain...

    Gas , refillable

I have a Safefill bottle. You can refill at Safefill bottles at Morrisons, if you show them the bottle first. About 79 pence a litre. Due to the decline in LPG cars, there are fewer petrol stations supplying gas. The payback time is quite long, due to the price of bottles. Filling LPG bottles in...

No, but the water in Milton Keynes comes under CART and the cookers will fail the BSS.
