sorry i was under the impression the md 2 an the md 11 was the same engine, there isnt any mechanism its just a bypass port.
anyway will consider myself better advised

What i was trying to explain was that the thermostat on the md 2 isnt your run of the mill stat, when the engine first starts or until it reaches its running temp 60c if i remember...

Just want to set up a fishfinder as a backup, they have a lot more going for them than just depth.
Hi all, looking to get a budget priced fishfinder to use as a depth sounder, but they all seem to come with a transom mounted tranducer......
So the question is...can this type of transducer be mounted ok as a shoot through in its own onboard resevoire ?

Is it as soft as the Optima ? If it is i might give it a try as the Optima i have being using is superb, I cannot fault its performance, but also very expensive...

Hi, I have the 608 as recomended at the time by Seateach who said the next model up would have being a unneccasary expense fitted on my Sabre 27.
Its being on there seven yrs now with no problems at all, but if you do decide to fit it I would recomend fitting a diverter wheel at the mast top...
