    My sump's the wrong way round!

    Normally the sump has the deep section at the flywheel end (rear) of the sump. In a vehicle you often find a cross member under the front and even here the engine often slopes backward. Is the strainer mounted on a shaped pipe if so it may just need turning where it enters the pump housing

    I tried Amazon and as it was more than 30 days they refused, I believe this is another difference with Amazon market place that is not made very clear. The Amazon 123 guarantee is only 30 days anyway

    Weather proofing VHF antenna connection at the top of the mast

    Self amalgamating tape available from DIY shops I used 2 BNCs and a barrel connector on both VHF and GPS then wrapped with two layers. they have been there for 4 years and when I put the swr meter on the VHF last week still got a good reading
