Cheers Captain Sensible,
We're not giving up living aboard, just looking at a smaller / cheaper boat. Must have that sundowner with you some time. Thanks Gonad and I'll keep in touch Jonic. Just watched the Remembrance Sunday Service here - very moving.
Wow,
Not had WiFi for a few days. Lots of responses and lots to think about. We live on the boat and we're not desperate to sell but need to look into the legalities. The boat's only a year old and we're having warranty work done this Winter.
Agree with the comments about a %age commission...
Thanks every one,
Cariadco, just spoke to Flewy - it's his 25th birthday today (he's obviously got senile dyslexia!). Had a bit of rain the other night, washed the salt off the boat nicely...
I get the impression Gib is a Marmite place, and we love it.
Boat to sell is a Dufour 485 Grand'...
Local agent wants 8% to sell boat - is this normal ????
Any ideas for earning money would be appreciated (apart from selling my body - it might have been worth a couple of groats before a year living aboard but not now )
Thanks in advance :)
Friends and family of course...
Familiar big supermarket - or better still Tesco home delivery!
A bath
A washing machine (and unlimited water!)
Reliable, fast internet connection
Chris and Jeanna, living on board DecaDance, a Dufour 485 Grand' Large. Set off from Dartmouth on 19th November 2010, Winter in the Canaries, then Gib, S Spain, Ibiza and Mallorca. Trying to spend as much time as poss on anchor and happy to share info on the ones we've visited if people want...
Thanks everyone, nice to know there are alternatives. We're anchored outside Puerto Porto in Mallorca at the mo. Didn't realise the marina here was the place to be seen in Mallorca. €4.80 for a small beer, daren't ask what it would cost to stay in the marina! Not that it's my type of scene...
Hi Everybody,
We seem to change our plans more often than our underwear :D. We're in Ibiza at the mo (heaven), got friends and family aboard until the end of the month and then we were due to make our way to the Adriatic. Then we were going to over-winter in Gibraltar as we love it there, and...
Thanks everyone - the biggest question for me is "do these banks correspond via email rather than post?". Email at all would be good (which Lloyds don't currently do), total email and no letters would be perfect - maybe not possible for legal reasons for business account?
Chris just phoned - they're still fighting the explosion at the oil storage facility:

Chris says it's ok if wind stays as it is, at least DecaDance is, don't know where Cap'n Sensible and any body else is berthed, let us know you're ok x
