Take it you have been to Ideal Boats in Southampton to take a look at the Saxdor? Tom usually has a lot of stock passing though quite quickly from what I've seen,
Hi, there are some quite active Aquador facebook groups, you would probably get some good input from those.
Search for 'Aquador boats' and 'Aquador tips and tricks'
Might be someone has re-propped her if you are not getting the performance your expecting.
My 26HT (1999), which I believe is the...
dehumidifier if possible in cabin, tube heater in engine bay if possible.
Wipe down all surfaces that have been touched by human hand with antibacterial wipes, it massively reduces the growth of mold over the winter.
Really does work a treat.
I'd recommend if you go for the AD31 setup to look for the 150HP version and not the older 130. If you want to take friends and family out the 130 might struggle a bit. If you can find a KAD32 variant even better.
Have a look also at the Maxum 2400 SCR as well. Not sure if there are diesel...
might be worth having a chat with Coastal rides if not already done so. They seemed to have used VP engines in stock when I was exploring an upgrade last year.
I bought mine from Asda, less than 20 Quid if I recall correctly. Not the greatest quality, but way cheaper than some other brands so can just replace when it gives up. They did 2 lengths. Can always connect 2 together if need it longer.
Hmm not my experience in Spain.
For a number of years we would dinghy sail just south of Empuriabrava , + had a small SIB too. We launched from a small river estuary that was a favorite for Ribs and other small motor boats to visit.
But the river entrance was a max of 2boats wide, with sand...
great boat. I had one of these with a 50. Used to take to Spain every summer.
Oodles of fun with her.
Bow is so light and buoyant, there is no fear of burying the bow in a wave or swell.
I bought a used dock for a 6.1m bowrider several years back for about £1000
Picked it up on a flat bed trailer I rented with a winch
Sold it I think for a little less I think, and the new owner picked up from the marina I had her on.
He had the marina lift her with the boat hoist directly onto...
Hi Maverick, if you like the idea of the Hardy quality and seakeeping, but don't want to dawdle too much, the Hardy Seawings might be a good way to go.
Great deep V hull planing hull, cuts through the chop beautifully, solid Hardy build quality, Hard top with sunroof and rear canopy, so best...
it would normally have a plate on the A frame giving such details, but I can't see one in the pics. A bit similar to one I had too, and I think mine was about 2600kg (but that included the trailer weight). I'm sure I ran over weight, and all through France with no problems.
They said it was just above the water line..
I should have been clearer I guess. I had a secondary strainer, before the main engine one. And because it was above the waterline, it sometimes got airlocked.
This was the one I could add water to, to prime the system
if the boat has been out of the water, can get an airlock if the strainer is above the waterline. I used to get this problem on my old boat.
I used to get a container of water, and opened the trainer, added water, put top back on and restart. All was good. No problems when left in the water
