Winter maintenance tips, what is yours.

Get your anchor chain out of the locker and rinse the salt off. Prolong the life of the chain. Better than it sitting in salt all winter.
Without sounding critical, shouldn’t you do this during the hose down after every anchor dropping trip. Depends on the boat I guess but mine has drainage in the locker so you can just hose down the chain in situ.
If this isn’t the case then great tip. :)

Inspect or preferably, change the O ring in the fuel filler cap annually and lightly grease with a water resistant grease.

The dehumidifier is on the boat but yet to be switched on.
I will be checking the boat at the weekend and any sign of a damp feeling the dehumidifier will be put on . I usually leave it to fill its own reservoir .
The minimum (60% rh) humidity setting was sufficient last winter

dehumidifier if possible in cabin, tube heater in engine bay if possible.
Wipe down all surfaces that have been touched by human hand with antibacterial wipes, it massively reduces the growth of mold over the winter.
Really does work a treat.
