Hello fellow Boaters, I know this has been aired previously but can fellow Volvo 61A owners please advise on the best engine oil for this particular engine . I am river based so generally don't run above 1500/1800 rpm. Thank you in advance for your replies.

Hello formalites. I wonder, if anyone could give me a clue where I could purchase the T shaped edging as fitted to Broom and Fairline floor hatches, circa 1988 and later. Also and importantly, who may be able to form the bends necessary to edge the hatch outline. Many thanks for any information.

Yesterday took the plunge and cut out the old valve, made very small incisions and forced new unit in. Have left glue to cure until the weekend with just enough air to retain tube shape. Thank you for the advice.

Had very similar problem with a Mastervolt gennie, water coming out of exhaust and displaying error code (can't remember what) ran for about 15secs then auto shut down. After some investigation found that the cylinder head temp sensor was the culprit.

From memory of the 1970s I would think it may well be a Mayland.
