Looks like I'll be sliding and swearing again then...
Is there any known good technique for getting the main+lazy cover into the boom track? Was thinking I might disattach the goose neck then suspend the boom by the topping lift and spinnaker halyard... Or something...
Hi, I have an old boom into whose track I slide my main sail and lazy cover. It takes ages to get it in and causes much swearing. I've read that I may get a better sail shape if I leave the main out of the boom track - is that worth trying? The main looks designed to go in the track, so don't...
I had to move my bilge hose to get at my fuel tank. I've got the fuel tank back in place but the rigid hose is not playing ball. Can't seem to get to bend at all... Would it be easier if I bought some new hose - is it more flexible when new? Thanks!

Hi I'm looking to fit an auto bilge pump in the small sump of my bilge 140mm x 80mm. Ideally it would have an exit pipe heading straight up... Is there such a thing? Boat is 28ft.
Thanks,
Crisp
Hi annoyingly I seem to have take a picture of the wrong bit of my Perkins filter water separator... Is there a standard size for these Perkins CAV filters?
Is it 4415122?
Or do I need to check next time I'm at the boat?
Ta!
Hi, the bolts that hold my mast step in place are pretty rusty...
Should I try and replace them?
Is it urgent?
I'm unsure how much pressure they're likely to be under.
Any thoughts?
Many thanks,
Crispin
I'm tempted to get a pair of these for my Twister.
Wondering if anyone has found much use for them on the East Coast?
I'm thinking it would give me more options for staying up muddy creeks etc.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Crisp
