I'm selling my Plastimo dinghy...
I thought it was a 240 but there is a 240 for sale on Ebay and mine is larger, so it could be a 250 possibly? We have had 4 people in it with no issues.
When we moved house we must have lost the oars somewhere so as a result there are no oars with this.
It's...
Yesterday I got a call from the broker to say my boat had been sold, so I'd probably disagree with the common sense argument, though am surprised my boat has sold so late in the year.
Marketing and the broker you choose, plus a bit of luck would be what I would say.
(I used to own a Chaparral 215)
not sure about the heat exchanger, but the impeller was changed a few months ago.
Yesterday was the first time it has been in the water since the service!!
The surveyor picked up the fact that our engine overheats when on FOT.
Now I think I remember hearing somewhere that occasionally petrol thermostats end up being fitted so the engine always looks hot on the gauge.
Has anyone else had overheating issues on their 1.7 Merc?

Re: Raggies Unbelievable stupidity, Pics
How's about this then...
What if the ski-racers use a raggie or two to marshal the race?
These 'marshals' could employ col-regs to hustle other raggies out the way!?

Our funds are (and its what i keep telling myself) being diverted to another cause for the moment.
I'll kick Shelleys arse if she says in a couple of year...
Our boat is now for sale and the 'plan' is to indeed get another in a couple of years time or so, something Nordic maybe...
In the interim Shelley and i are already talking about chartering either in CIs or Med every now and again.
How many people sell up, say they'll get another boat in a few years and actually do?
A lot of things can change in a couple of years or so, but how many people manage to keep swmbo sweet for that period and get a boat again?
We Coppercoated ours a year ago, i dont think the boat has moved for 4 months maybe as many as 6, we are going to try and got down to her this weekend sa can let you know the results - moored in Gosport..
Alan006, you're right in saying that a trail by media is not an ideal solution to the problem.
My problem is that Bluewater Marine have the solutiuon.
All for a paltry £1000 (one of the quotes)
They are aware of this forum and my feelings as i emailed them a weblink to the post so they have...
I mentioned in an earlier post of the lack of support we have received with our Chaparral.
Here is a weblink to the pics.

Personally, i think it should not matter how minor the issue is the level of customer support should...
