Just a message of thanks to the contributors. I managed to remove the burner ( the bit with the gas holes in ) and removed a mass of rust and rubbish accumulated over 11 years. I now have a very nice strong blue flame. For information, the burners on my Plastimo Neptune could only be removed...

Seems that one of the burners has quite a bit of white in the flame which is causing the above. The other burner seems ok though. Odd that the one showing the most white is the one I use the least. Any ideas on how to fix it. Thanks in advance.
