Considering you have probably the best system on the market when you bought it then I would go with the forth option, if you can just remove the mast head unit and swap straight across then do so. Look what make all the Volvo 70's use! What boat is it?

I have bought one of the above filters and was looking to see if a 15mm to 1/2" BSP Tap Connector is what I need to join the plastic pipe to the threads on the filter. Or should I be using another connector? Many Thanks. Alex

Well the chap in question is a Director of a fairly large marine engine servicing and installation place in Southampton. In reply to a question earlier when the engine had been run for a while it will quite happily sit at idle with out the oil pressure warning going off?
