Jabsco Aqua Filta connections

I have bought one of the above filters and was looking to see if a 15mm to 1/2" BSP Tap Connector is what I need to join the plastic pipe to the threads on the filter.

Or should I be using another connector?

You need a proper connector .. There are a number of different combinations .. I was in FOXS in Ipswich last week .. Gave up as they did not have all the bits .. You can get ones with a pipe fitting on both ends .. or only one and a push fit bayonet fitting the other .. Come in 1/2 and 3/4 with reducers etc to fit ..
