Anyone got first hand experience of these or know any happy/unhappy owners? Just vaguely toying with the idea atm.

What is it? presumably a large rib with a cabin?

I had an 18' Zodiac a few years back, it had too shallow a vee and slammed like a bastard, glad to see the back of it. Having said that, their smaller ribs and inflatables are excellent.

Hmmm a private buoy at the Hut...now there's a nice idea.
We're planning to move down there Paul so just exploring different boating ideas. We love what we have and Lisilou suits our needs perfectly not least because she gives us a home away from home but if we have a house down there, we have to ask the question whether we'd really need that size of boat and the expense it entails. As it stands...living where we do, it's money well spent but living in or around Hamble, I'm not sure we could justify it as her use would change.
Our boating is mainly weekend Solent hopping with the occasional long haul trip so a cabin rib could well be the perfect answer. I don't know. It would be a huge decision to make so we'll need to give it a lot of thought. Our weather is a big factor too.

Ahh likewise as you know my situation, it maybe a house move too or at least a house and no boat for now, I RIB or small sports would do me fine too. Are you looking in Old Bursledon area? Be nice to walk to the Jolly at least.

There was one in Lymington yacht haven last year, may still be there. It looks very wide for its length, I guess because of the tubes. A couple of points to consider - with low freeboard and quite a limited windshield it will be cold underway, especially for any passengers who are sat behind the helm seats. Also, on a hard boat of the same size all that tube area can be either extra deck space, or extra storage, both of which are very valuable.

There are a number of non-RIB, outboard powered options at about the same size - some high quality Scandi boats (eg. Aquador), American sport fishers, Karnic make some nice cabin boats, as well as budget options from Jeanneau, Beneteau, and some Eastern European builders.

Hamble Village is ideal but there are few places cropping up around Bursledon which might tick the boxes. We're holding fire until we've sold before do viewings. We're keeping an open mind atm.

All good points Nick. It's me that fancies the rib route whereas Chris really likes the Merry Fisher style. We're in Lymington on sunday so will take a wander to see if we can see it. Thanks for the heads up.
