looked into this some years ago, and can't remember all details, but it was made for something like a xmas party as a laugh, and was never meant to be made public, and wasn't shown on tv

There was a lovely article written for and published in a camera magazine.
It referred to a new type of tripod but with only two legs. You will have to imagine from hereon because I cannot remember the various double meanings to the descriptions of how to operate it.
The production run was stopped after several hundred copies.
The apology contained a reference to the fact that the editor was not married and therefore did not realize the ambiguities.
A copy is probably worth a lot of money now.
