Makes for interesting reading. I pay £1k p.a. for a pontoon mooring in the Conwy river estuary for 11.5m. Where as it does not have electricity it has other benefits that make up for it. Peace and quiet, stunning views etc. And where as you cant just walk off it to shore, you need to take the water taxi, I can be in the centre of the town within 10 minutes. At first the thought of not having electricity or running water was seen as a potential hardship, but actually the house batteries and a quick fill up of water on the way out sees us just fine.
