YM out today...or not as the case may be

Following the blurb on the front page of this site thought I'd check out the new improved, full flavoured Yachting World. Three W.H. Smiths and umpteen newsagents later I still hadn't found one. Spent my monthly magazine budget on the opposition instead. Have I really missed anything?

Don't follow what you are complaining about. Your heading refers to YM (Yachting MONTHLY) but your text moans about not finding Yachting WORLD.
My subscription Yachting Monthly, which BTW is cheaper than buying it from a newsagent, arrived by post on Wednesday, 7th April. Makes your budget go further!!

Must have been looking at the keyboard upside down! Still haven't been able to find a copy of this months' Yachting WORLD (5 branches of Smiths 10 independents). Don't buy magazines every month, sooner put the money into sailing.

9th April and still no YM through the flap.

i have read PBO cover to cover twice and was hopping for YM to see me through Easter.

O well have to go and be pleasant to the In-Laws who are staying for the Holiday.

YW had reached Peterborough shops by Saturday.

There is a good article on Code 0 sails and their assessment of the interior of the new Dehler 34 concurred with my immediate thoughts when I viewed one last month. The detailed carpentry looked cheaper than a Bavaria.

I used to think that YW was for other people, it was the glossy super yacht pictures put me off. These days I tend to read the magazine more because I find the standard of writing so good.
