I wonder what it was actually intended for, it looks bespoke to some specific use.

I assume that its best seabed would be weed - there used to be a manufacturer of something, very vaguely, similar in South Australia, where they were very popular.

If your seabeds for miles around are weed, as they are in South Australia - where the weed grows on limestone, its the only sort of thing that will work. None of the new gen anchors will work in SA weed - so don't knock it entirely. Though whether this one would be a sufficiently 'tuned' design???

Obviously if its for sale in the UK it seems very unlikely it was designed for South Australia - but maybe someone had some specific ambitions.

Bit blunt for that lawn.

Blunt can be good for anchors that get used in RIBs.

One should never set an anchor in a RIB, they are probably as sensitive to anchors as seahorses and they move - until punctured.
