I've just purchased 3 of Lumishore's beautifully crafted and lovingly assembled underwater lights. I was advised to buy 3 because of the size of my boat but I'm having difficulty deciding where to put them. According to the manufacturer's instructions, they should be located between 4" and 12" below the waterline. This is one option
Obviously I'm concerned about the middle light being too deep in the water and the beam being affected by the overhanging sternthruster. I'm also concerned that drilling holes for the outer lights so close to the corners of the hull might create a stress point but maybe I'm worrying too much on that
The other alternative is to use just 2 lights like this but then the lighting effect might be a bit poor
What does the panel think?
