Yet another summer gale!

Was in Dartmouth about 3 weeks ago and was F7 at the time, will be back in the midle of August for a couple of weeks, hope to stay for regatta if weather fine, am hoping for a better August than last year. I had a call from a friend in Dartmouth tonight and he says weather is cr*p

Coldest, windyest, if thats a word, since I remember!
June that is + May was not good Oop North either.
Precipitaion (now thats posh!;)) has been relatively ok
Monitored from the state of me front lawn, not by any technical measures!
Tiss precipitatin proffusely as I type and no let up for two days it seems
Windy too till middle of next week tiss the forecast:(
 
I know its ben a bit breezy for the last two months but its been a great opportunity to practice mooring skills in less than perfect conditions. Trouble is I am still rubbish, but SWMBOs lassooing skills have improved no end :D

I'm starting my slow trip South next week, plan is....

Another week in the Clyde,Fill up on Diesel and beer then off to Strangford to meet the Irish group (IE Cruising) a week around the clubs in Strangford filing up on food good company and beer. Then off over to Isle of Man for the Traditional Boat festival. Fill up on Kippers and beer then back to North Wales. I can then start doing some serious weekend cruising :)
