I'm sure you actually did a great job of it (after witnessing your boat handling skills first hand), you were probably being a bit critical of yourself. It's good to step outside of your comfort zone occasionally :)

Let me assure you, there's absolutely no need for any criticism whatsoever, MapisM did of course a fantastic job! I think the challenge came from the buoy hook being too short and as there already was another boat using the said buoy, it was tilted heavily and very close to the water's surface. Must have been quite a stretch to reach it in fact.

This is the buoy hook mentioned:

I have to work on some challenges for you during your Southern Hemisphere trip
LOL, funny you should mention it, 'cause S is checking the flight combinations as I'm typing, and it seems that arriving to Tas from IT will be challenging enough even by plane.
A 30+ hours job, apparently...
Btw, will email you our program soon!

Btw, will email you our program soon!

Should be twelve hours to Asia, eight to Melbourne and less than an hour across Bass Strait, without airport waits.

Check Webjet out to see all carrier/flight info together, not necessarily to book, but for comparison. Jetstar (Quantas offshoot) Virgin and Tiger all fly to Tas.
