Yeoman to Furino GPS30 conenctions

Any help appreciated.

Can get GPS info to Yeoman for position but cant seem to transfer waypoints from the Yeoman to the Furuno GPS30.

The Yeoman website says that the Furuno 30 is compatible only for providing the positioning interface.

Not much help to you, but the later GP32 has a specific setting in the menu for Yeoman input.
I wanted to transfer NMEA waypoints to my GP32 from a PC plotting programme but Furuno told me that their receivers require a modified form of the NMEA WPL sentence. Presumably, that is the problem you are meeting.

Blue to Blue
Green to Green
Thin black to yellow and black (0 volts)
Red to 12 volts

Try that.

Thanks everyone. WIll have another go tomorrow butsure Ive tried just about every combination. Fitted loads of Yeomans but this is teh first time with a Furuno 30.....
