Yellow buildings in Brighton Marina? (Not really boaty)

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that Brighton Marina has got the worst case of flatulence I have ever seen. Not the people but the marina itself!
At low water bubbles pop up everywhere. It gurgles and gulps continually.
I would hate to hazzard a guess what causes this.

That gurgling and fizzing bubbles is probably caused by rotting flesh on the sea bed.
This usually happens a Low water springs..

Its not that uncommon phenomenon, The worst place I came across was in a French fishing harbour
All the water in the harbour was fizzing like mad and the smell was unbearable, wot a pen !!!!

Just to point out I have.. Never Ever... had a smelly mooring whilst being in Cornish waters..
