Managed to login again using reply to thread as suggested. Does not work from main page. However I get kicked out after a while, so I might not be able to get back.

PLEASE DO RESTORE THE OLD FORUM FORMAT. THAT IS THE ONLY WAY TO MAKE IT WORK.

A man I knew worked on an Early Warning system being installed in Saudi Arabia. It was very complex and expensive. At its heart was a large, copper-encased valve that cost millions. After the system was commissioned it was inspected by a big-wig from the government. Having seen it operating he questioned the large number of local technicians employed at the site and was told they were needed for maintenance of the equipment. In no uncertain terms he told them that they had better get on with some maintenance or they would all be out of a job. Within days the technicians had 'adjusted' many of the settings supplying the valve and had burned it out.
