Iv acquired a boat fitted with a Yanmar SD 31 saildrive ,the large rubber bellows has been replaced last year but I'm struggling to find any reference or manual for general maintanance for this saildrive.Iv emailed yanmar who sent me .links to their online manuals but they were all for new products . There are other links to manuals but when followed they come to nothing .
Even correct procedure for changing oil would be useful,I'm thinking its a case of removing filler cap,undoing drain plug and draining old oil then refill as per an outboard but filling via cap on top of leg? Any pointers would be most welcome as I'm reluctant to do anything without being certain not to cause any problems. The boat is 15 years old but has been looked after and well maintained over that time .
