I've just completed the refurb of the pump - for the third time. Found a post on YBW forum most helpful in refreshing the memory. Main point of this post is that for fellow yanmar users I've found that the Service manual is now available as a download (free) from EP Barrus website. It shows the exploded view of the pump, and for a small consideration I'll show you where I was told to put a fibre washer to move the seal along the shaft so you get 2 lots of wear out of the shaft.
Worth doing as the shaft is about £75.
PS it's between the water seal and the pump body.
