Yanmar 1GM10 replacement air filter too big.

I ordered a new air filter for my Yanmar 1GM10 engine but it does not fit (too big), here is a picture of the new and old filters and the filter holder. I'm thinking that maybe a smaller air filter housing has been fitted at some point, although I'm not sure a larger filter housing would fit in the available space. Any advise greatly appreciated.

Is it a genuine part the larger one looks it.

Should be fairly snug into the housing thinner end first.

Its the smaller one that looks wrong but it could be the photo!

Thanks, I hope it's genuine, ordered from Force Four Marine, had to change the first one they sent as that one was even bigger (think it might have been for a 3 cylinder engine). What is strange is that the inside of the filter housing has felt lagging around the inside wall - which makes it difficult to fit the new filter. I could remove this, but would also have to trim a part or the new filter at the widest point to get the housing to close.

IIRC the smaller filter on the right and housing are the same as I had on my 1GM10. The filter on the left does not look like it's for this engine.

Thanks, yes - I think I got sent the wrong filter again.
