Yanmar 10GM

Anyone know of a good equivelent fan belt for the yanmar10hp. engine (other than the pricey own make) cheers Richard

I have same engine and took the old belt and the oil filter to a local motor factors for replacement they are nothing special.

If it is a standard vee section (which it probably is), ASAP Supplies list a range from 29" to 49" in 1" increments.

If you take the old one into a motor factors they'll almost certainly find you a replacement.

I have found the Yanmar belt useless for driving a 90amp alternator (mine is a 2GM20)and use heavy duty, serrated belts which are about 35% deeper than the Yanmar one.
