Anyone got one of these inflatable? Any good? And what power engine is about right? Looking for two adults plus one child in reasonable comfort.

We have a 330 zeepter of similar construction. Goes like shit off a shovel with a 6hp 2 str.

It came with the yacht and is more than we need for family of four. We are fully on the plane with all four of us plus luggage; the trade off is it's a beast to lift and stow. If I was choosing again I would go for a 2.7m.

The aluminium floor is very effective and stiff once assembled. It's not too hard to put together. It's a pain, and heavy, and takes extra space, to stow. If you keep it fully inflated most of the time, it's a good set up. Hope that helps.

Update! I bought the YAM 275S. What a mistake! The Yamaha Website advertises this as having an "aluminium floor". This is absolutely not the case - the boat has painted plywood boards with aluminium joiners. That is not an "aluminium floor". So beware. I am returning mine as the boards are v heavy and not that well made - just plywood covered thinly with Chinese grey paint. What a disappointment from a branded Yamaha product. So, can anyone recommend a 2.7m to 2.9m inflatable with a genuine aluminium floor?

We've had a Waveline 2.9 with plywood floor for 8 years now and are happy with it. Same model now advertised as having aluminium floor but suggest you phone them to check :) Solid Transom Dinghy With Aluminium Floor
Heard that Wavelines are ok - apparently most inflatables are made in the same factory in China whatever the brand! Storing a dinghy in a rack for most the year puts me off any wood! Under that thin chinese grey paint probably lurks a very cheap sourced plywood. Basically the Yam 275S looks a very cheap build - not impressed at all that Yamaha would put their badge on it.

I have one of those with Ali floor.
unlike the pic depicts the front floor piece on mine is ply and not looking like an inflatable floor.
Great bit of kit
I have it on snap Davits
you can stand in and not feel like you have just stood on a water bed.
Engine is a 3.3 two stroke, dill push it along but not plane

Are you looking for an ali floor or an ali hull?

I have a Honwave T27-IE which I'm very pleased with, but it has an inflatable floor and v-hull (airdeck?). IMO the floor is adequately solid enough - I would never now go for a tender with a slatted solid floor. It both planes and rows well.

If my Honwave was nicked I'd buy another one without hesitation.

It seems different batches have changes to spec. Mine has Avon type rowlocks, the seat rails are about 2ft long and the bow is wider. Floor is all ply. Only problem I've had is fittings started falling off at around 6 years old (which is common to many makes) but it's permanently inflated in high UV area and in daily use for 6/12. Tube seams are fine, they're covered by chaps.
