I have a friend whos son suffers from it.It is a terrible thing that affects the whole family.for that reason I couldnt join in but its no good being offended by jokes.They arent personal,we all regret that some people suffer but where would it all end if we couldnt make jokes?


i am white ,my wife and children mixed race,I dont laugh too much at racist jokes but have come to realize they usually mean nothing,the jokers arent usually racists so why worry.On the other hand if anyone made a personal attack of it that would be an entirely different matter.

Well I've crossed 2 oceans with it. What's the problem? We can sail like anyone else. Perhaps if more people's lives fell apart they would become more adventurous and venture out of the Solent nursery sailing environment. It's no different for me to sail than someone with diabetes or a bad leg.
