Hello,
This is a very boring post I know. But does anyone know of any decent yacht brokers in the Med. I am looking for a yacht that will cost me no more than £6000 that I can sail on my gap year. The thought of Sailing from England to Gibraltar is slightly unnerving with a limited crew. A friend has suggested that I buy the boat in the med. Anyone know of any decent, reputable and cheap brokers in the Med??? Am I asking too much. Could such a thing exist?? Any advise etc.. would be fantastic!!!

You'll do best to get down there and have a look - the prices you're looking at won't excite any interest from local brokers.

I'd recommend keeping out of the Med and looking at marinas round the Algarve and Costa de Luz. There are lots of boats for sale and being on the spot will allow you to haggle more effectively.
