This would be a good topic for the mag. NOT HERE.
Suggested myths could be:-
Fin keel are faster than bilge keel
Paralleling good and duff batteries drops the voltage of the good one
Eberspachers are unreliable
and (apologies to Dylan) 4 nightlights can heat a small boat.

Whadya think?

If you've used the Cowes Floating Bridge, you have enough experience, to jump over comp crew/day skipper, directly into RYA Yacht master.

That the white coloured sails on a boat will be the jib and main and the spinnaker will be coloured rather than the other way around.

Prior to the course your navigation skills should be at the standard of the Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster Offshore shorebased course.

FFS don't start this again.

"Standard of", not "have completed".

Absolutely. Some people with reading comprehension issues think that means you actually have to have passed that course. Did you ever?
