Is there a site/s to search UK/Australia that has a database of registered yacht/boat names/

Lloyds register of yachts, perhaps, not sure if they have a site, or the SSR??

yep they do have a site at http://www.sea-web.org/
but I think its only for commercial??

The ITU, Mars database has a list of all craft registered for radio. You have to put in the name or callsign and it will tell you what is there. It will not just give you a list and it will not show any boats that are not registered for radio. It is only updated at six month intervals
