Yacht insurance

Tex

Used Craftinsure for the last three years. Always been competitive, but (touch wood), I've never had to claim. I reckon that's the time when you find out if you've bought 'cheap' insurance!

I've also used Craftinsure for 2 years - and again haven't made a claim - however FWIW Treble C broke free of her mooring in December - it drifted up the creek and beached - No apparent damage but I reported it to Craftinsure and inspected fully when she came out of the water.

Before I got back to them, they asked for an update - shows they at least are aware of potential customer claims etc.

Norwich Union are some of the most difficult people in the world to deal with if you have a claim. I'd insure with anyone rather than give my money to Norwich Union.

I use GJW, they are excellent when it comes to claims; unlike Traffords where I had no support from them at all a few years back.

I found Craftinsure excellent when I made a claim a few years ago. Apart from settling the claim quickly what was also most pleasing was the very prompt response I got to any questions
