Yacht falls off back of lorry

So whose pride and joy was splattered all over the M25 today, presumably on its way to Excel? Still makes a change from jackknifed lorry, chemical spillage, sheer weight of traffic etc.

I was there, Reigate junction of the M25 just at the joining ramp on the Eastbound carriageway. There was a metallic Blue Landrover Discovery that had rolled, the roof was smashed down more towards the front. The boat was a pretty small keel yacht, it didn't look that badly damaged, scrapes e.t.c. but I am sure that there would be some structural damage, it couldn't have been more than 22ft or so. Certainly caused mayhem as large cranes were called in a bit OTT I thought to get it on the back of a transporter, but perhaps no other option or it was the handiest thing about /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Now I know why the traffic was bloody horendous round here! Wish I'd known, coulda gone for salvage rites!

I guess there were a few landy parts you could have made use of, it is definately a right off, I am glad a use a more stable Frontera /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif
