Turkey only requires the skipper holds a 'national qualification' The ICC is generally preferred as it is better recognised than a RYA DS. Equally an IYT Bareboat skipper or an RYA Day skipper is perfectly adequate.

If you look into the history of the ICC, you will find that only about 8 european countries actually adopted the 'Resolution 40 (from memory), ironically Greece who seems to demand it more than most, was not one of those countries.
