"A yacht has sunk after running into rocks off the Island of Jura.
The 50ft Enterprise was attempting to dock at the village of Craighouse on the island's east coast when it hit a submerged reef.

Crew members were forced to swim to nearby rocks.

Members of the lifeboat team called to the scene also had to be rescued, after their small inflatable "Y" craft ran aground on the same rocks.

Do not know what the weather is like over there but it is foul in Lanarkshire so cannot have been fun!

50ft Enterprise - sounds a bit bigger than the ones I used to sail!

Where can I read more about this?

Weather here was wet today but vis was OK and not too windy.

Re: 50ft Enterprise

The Enterprise has come a long way since I used to race them as a 16 year old!

Very frustrating but all there is is a brief bit on the BBC Scotland site - the bit I quoted was from there and there is no more

Am trying to find out more but have had no luck
