Dragged its anchor and went ashore two days ago.

Don't know any more details other than what Padstow Lifeboat have put on their Facebook page.

Not my photos, they're from Facebook.

Is this sort incident investigated by the MCA or does it not meet a criteria to be investigated?
Do you mean the MCA or MAIB? Both investigate serious incidents at sea. The MCA investigate (and where they find something prosecute) potential breaches of merchant shipping act (and associated regulations). Unless I missed something it didn’t sound like the sort of thing MCA usually get involved in (commercial vessels, drunk slippers, etc). The MAIB investigate the causes of incidents with the emphasis on learning from mistakes rather than prosecuting those who break the rules. They don’t investigate every incident, on a leisure vessel with no death / injury I would be surprised if they investigated unless the initial information they get suggests something that is worth everyone knowing (an MAIB anchor design / technique report could make the YBW servers explode!).
