I would need two for the domestic side and I'm also going to get a different new starter battery also.
They are to go on a Sealine S28, weekend use and the odd few days at anchor, to be used for powering a couple of fridges (one for beer)! and general lighting.
The boat is kept in a marina with shore power, which I plug into when I'm there or a friend will plug me in every couple of weeks for a couple of days.

Any thoughts?:confused::confused::confused:

How much?

They won't be true Deep Cycle as stated in the ad. More likely to be Leisure Batteries. Having said that they will be fine and you'll probably get a good Five years out of them provided you don't deep discharge them at any point. I bought some very similar from batterymegastore.co.uk last year for a little less but then the price of lead has probably gone up since then.

I went with these guys www.http://www.performancebatteries.co.uk after many hours of searching (I have a weird type of battery) next day delivery to the marina office included in the price. They have the best battery search facility if yours are strange type and possibly the keenest prices too. I see they do have a range of calcium batteries.

No connection just a V happy customer etc
