I don't want to sound daft, but I have a very similar looking Vaio that requires a small mini tower behind to keep all the guts and drives in. Where on earth are the drives for this, and if they are behind the screen, what keeps it cool? or is a mini tower needed for this? Seems to be a deceiving photo, but brilliant spec /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

I am pretty sure it has a tower lurking somewhere... look at the weight 13.5 kilos.... plus all the ports etc...highly unlikely that you'll squeeze all of those into the back of teh keyboard and the monitor.

Could have guessed that you'd have a flash one, Pete. /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

The gubbins is in a box behind the screen, about the size of a laptop but not much bigger than flat panels can be.

I played with one last week. Fold the keyboard in half and it automatically changes into a TV, record TV to DVD. I soooo want one but trying to think of an excuse.

This would be great for anyone with a large yacht and genny.............such as yourself, Pete. /forums/images/icons/cool.gif

Beware!! I had one very similar but not Sony, a Packard Bell 'Le Div@' where everything was integrated into the screen, very nice to look at and neat, BUT the screen burnt out with the heat of the processor behind it. On laptops the screen is always, or in most cases seperate from the gubbins. I guess Sony have tested it to the limit but Packard bell hadn't. I would suggest that you get the best possible extended warranty on that one if you go for it /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
